Nucleate supports its members through a range of equity-free, cohort-based programs like Activator and Genesis, which offer deep mentorship and hands-on guidance. They also provide undergraduate initiatives, professional development opportunities, research resources, and a mix of in-person and virtual events.

The Excedr Launch Program helps Nucleate alumni access essential instruments through flexible leasing—preserving equity while accelerating R&D.

Alumni who apply and lease with Excedr receive special underwriting consideration and up to three months free (average savings: $30K+).

Activator Program

Nucleate's flagship program begins with a “mutual-matching” team formation phase, followed by workshops and mentor office hours, culminating in a final pitch showcase before world-renowned judges.

The program includes hands-on workshops, professional development, networking, expert mentorship, and more.

Genesis Program - VC 101

A virtual, hands-on educational curriculum that teaches scientists how to turn ideas into viable biotech ventures. Participants will apply core principles of biotech company creation around Nucleate's venture prompts and pitch an esteemed expert panel.

Participation in the program requires a strong command over the scientific literature. Nucleate prioritizes individuals who have a demonstrated technical background in the biomedical and biological sciences. All applications reviewed and accepted into the program on a rolling basis.
