To protect users from exposure to hazardous fumes and vapors, Labconco provides ductless fume hoods and enclosures. These do not require ducts and instead use carbon filters that absorb acid gasses, solvents, ammonia, radioisotopes, and other hazardous vapors. Ductless enclosures are of two types: one with carbon filters and the other with a mix of carbon and HEPA filters. Labconco also provides state-of-the-art biosafety cabinets for all biosafety level environments. These cabinets use>99.99% efficient HEPA filtration systems and are categorized into Class I, Class II, and Class III.
Labconco’s Glove Boxes are designed to provide an inert environment and controlled atmosphere when working with contamination-prone and hazardous material. Its HEPA/ULPA-filtered glove boxes are ventilated and protect users from exposure to dangerous materials. They allow for handling atmosphere-sensitive materials through their seamless and washable polyethylene shells.
Labconco’s glassware washers include their branded Labconco FlaskScrubber and SteamScrubber lab washers. The FlaskScrubber washers use direct injection to perform a deep-clean of narrow-neck glassware (such as an Erlenmeyer flask).
Conversely, the StreamScrubber glassware washer is used for washing general labware such as test tubes, Petri dishes, beakers, and utensils. Both models are undercounter and freestanding.
